  3. To become a member of the site, it is necessary to enter your email address. The address will be used only for the following:
    1. The system will email you your login information.
    2. If you subscribe to content or threads, the system will email you notifications.
    3. The site administrator sends email directly to the very occasional user in regard to content posted by the user.
  4. If you wish to opt out of subscriptions for which you have signed up, please do so using the "my subscriptions" link.
  5. Please do not sign up for an account and then, upon receiving your login info by email (as the registration instructions clearly state will happen), send the site administrator an angry message demanding to be removed from a "mailing list." Yes, believe it or not, this has happened several times.
