New Pardee Developement on Camino Del Sur

I just heard that Pardee is going to start building on a parcel of land that is across the street from Westview....Not sure about the amount of houses...but, I heard over 50+....
With the housing market is such a slump...why on earth would Pardee choose to build on it now?

Pardee ain't doing to bad with their walk-up house products. 500-600k. Something tells me they will make these, and not the huge houses no one can truely afford.

Of all the developers in this region, Pardee is most likely to survive and thrive. They continued to build throughout the 1990s downturn while others stopped. And why wouldn't they, especially if they can get ready to develop land at 2/3 off.
