Looking for a financial advisor

It's been a while since I sat down with a professional and did an evaluation of my portfolio. I'm not a big $$ investor, just a hard working middle class type.

Can anyone recommend a financial advisor who is reputable, won't charge an arm and leg, and who has an office in the mid-county (Carmel Valley, Carmel Mountain, RB) area?

Thanks.

Have you considered Rich (who owns this site)? I'm on the verge of firing my current financial advisor, because he's not doing that much better than me (which isn't saying much, because I'm really not doing as well as I would like).

Can you quantify that, some advisors have minimums. Are you talking about <$250k, <$100k, >$500k, or >$1m. The good ones I know have min >$1M.

The answer to that will help you get pointed in a better direction.

Rich has an office in Del Mar (at least his company does) and I believe they have an office in Mission Valley. Their average account is $200,000 according to the web site.
