Ex-CitiGroup CEO running Obamaomics

First it was an ex-Freddie Mac CEO running Obama's search for VP, and now an ex-CitiGroup CEO is his top financial advisor? This guy does not understand what is going on.

CitiGroup has been having issues since last November, and Freddie has had issues forever.

Former SEC Chairman Levitt would be a much better choice.

How about learning to read? Rubin is not his top financial advisor. Some of his proteges are on Obama's team, but since they've been acclaimed on both sides (Republican and Democrats), I'm not quite sure what your point is.

Yes he is the top economic adviser on Obama's transition team. The link above is a press release after the Citigroup bailout. Look at press releases before the Citigroup near collapse, and you will see Robert Rubin all over the place.

I think his point is Obama, like most politicians, is picking people with more experience causing problems than solving them, indicating he really has no clue what caused this mess or how to fix it.
