Double Oven vs Microwave and Single Oven

I plan to remodel my standard tract home kitchen and was wondering what you all think of double wall ovens and a countertop microwave vs a built-in microwave and a wall oven underneath? A double wall oven is a lot more expensive, but I'm thinking it would be better for resale.
Since microwaves tend to fail more than ovens, if the built-in microwave broke, how difficult would it be to purchase a new one that would fit in the space properly?
Could a countertop microwave with a generic trim kit work as a built-in?
