Dirtbag attorneys and the foreclosure process

Here's a good read that I just ran across on the State's Bar site:

I get pissed every time I hear of another attorney or firm that suddenly jumps onto the foreclosure bandwagon and become foreclosure experts. It's a total scam, and unnecessary. I just noticed that Kerry Steigerwalt's Pacific Law Center is doing it now, and has an add for a foreclosure attorney on Craigslist. That firm has had numerous complaints and lawsuits filed against it for all sorts of reasons. Kerry sold out for the easy money. I change the channel every time one of his commercials is on t.v.

More of a rant than anything.

I have an idea. Why don't you become a lawyer, Pablo? It's such a sweet job, practically a sinecure, high pay, absolutely insane benefits. And all you have to do is defend scumbags once in a while.

Not sure what that response has to do with the ethical violations of certain attorneys - But, I'll give it some thought, thanks.

I was poking fun at another active post http://piggington.com50_years_of_pension... where somebody was complaining about the pensions that firemen get, and somebody suggested they become a fireman. Figured I'd do the same here except with lawyers, but if you haven't read the post, then it really isn't funny. In fact, even if you read the post now, it still won't be funny. Sorry about that.

Ah, that went over my head. I thought perhaps it was a tongue in cheek jab because I'm a lawyer ;)
