Biden stepping down???

I just read an interesting article claiming that Biden may be stepping down from his role as VP (citing health problems) and Hilary Clinton will be assuming his role shortly after the debate. If this is true this would a very interesting move by the democratic party or maybe Bill decided it was time to play hardball and threaten Biden.

I tried looking up the information on Snopes and it said "undetermined". Has anyone got any information on this. Maybe just another conspiracy article, but it would be a very interesting move that wouldn't suprise me at this point.

I would say that is pretty unlikely at this point in time, given that Obama is leading in the polls and Bill is running his mouth off again. I don't think Barack could tolerate that from his VP's spouse during his entire term.

Now, should he fall behind in the polls or if Biden really boofs the debate, that might change things.

I think it is much more likely (at this point in time) that McCain would ditch Palin.

Either candidate would have to be really really down in the polls to do that, though, given the dismal results of McGovern tossing Eagleton.

Where did this info come from?

This info was forwarded to me, but google "Biden stepping down". You should find quite a bit of info on the story. There seems to be nothing more than speculation, but I wouldn't put it past Obama and the democrats to pull one last move to get Obama the votes to win the election. At this point I already see Obama winning the election, so I don't know if someone was just pulling this idea out of thin air, but nothing is impossible these days!

I got that e-mail last week, too before the melt down. It gave specifics about claiming some kind of medical condition for the change. That would make for quite a rodeo. If people think Palin is polarizing, bringing Hillary into the mix would really shake things up.
