Alright, I had a wacky idea tonight (after a glass (or two) of Syrah), let's each take one address of a home listed on the MLS or Zip we feel is overpriced and send them a letter telling them they are nuts, their piece of property is a piece of Shizen and that they will be lucky to get pennies on the dollar for their property. Let's make it clear that none of us responsible buyers would ever do anything they wouldn't do such as pay more for something than it is really worth! Maybe that psychological splinter will make them reduce their price faster . . . ??? Now waiting to see how long it takes for this post to disappear . . . DD

Now this is an idea that I would come up with sober.
I say we make multiple offers in desending order starting a few hundred thousand below asking price!
I would think the homeowner/flipper is getting EXACTLY that message loud and clear from his lack of offers/showings.....Market equilibrium forces always seek their own level.....Just sit back and watch, you'll know when its the right time.
I hope Jason doesn't read this, but passive aggressive is the way to go here. Lets let the market forces whatnot do their thingy with the whoosits.
