A realtor cold called my house todayUser Forum Topic
Submitted by IONEGARM on February 25, 2007 - 12:32am
A realtor saying she was from Re/max called my house earlier today. "Hello, my name is X from Re/Max how would you like to make $30,000 to $40,000 a year in real estate buying a home..." I cut her off there told her I was on National DNC list and asked her what her phone number was so I could file a complaint... *silence*... then *click*

With the company's name, you have enough to file a complaint: https://www.donotcall.gov/Complain/Compl...
Also, next time in case you haven't done this, using *69 to retrieve the caller's phone number. (Doesn't always work, though.)
I believe you can setup your phone so that blocked numbers can't call you.

A more pragmatic solution would be to simply ask that they remove you from their internal list. It is usually far more effective than threats and far less tie consuming.
Perhaps, but someone violating DNC is going to bother other people also. It's better for the DNC complaint site to gather stats.
