I am not feeling Oceanside, maybe Escondido. I do feel partial to the rural areas of Vista, for some reason.
Right now we rent at the beach in Encinitas. I would looooooove to stay here, but also we want some land. So, it is either manifest a way to buy here in Ecinitas or move inland.
I am completely open to finding a way to have what I want, but I am curious about what some of you think about the realities of what a 200,00 house might be like and where early winter '09 or fall/late winter '09.

There are 16 active listings of 3 and 4 bedroom detached homes in Oceanside, and another 15 actives in Escondido.
Granted, most people aren't enamored with living in these areas, but $200,000 is already starting to mean something.
